Each division (bodybuilding, men's physique, classic physique, figure, bikini, women's physique, wellness) is broken down into the following classes:

OPEN

Any NPC athlete, regardless of age or experience.  In order to be eligible to compete in the overall comparison, you must compete in the open class.

MASTERS

Athletes over a certain age. Age categories may vary depending on the size of a competition and expected turnout for a specific class.  Check show registration info for specific age cut-offs.

TRUE NOVICE

Athletes who have never competed in an NPC sanctioned competition.

HERO

Athletes who are active or veteran military, law enforcement, fire or EMT.
